Georgia Brown
Makeup, Hair and Prosthetic SFX artist
I am a London/ Surrey based SFX makeup and prosthetics artist with over four years of experience working across feature film, television, commercials and music videos.
My background is in prosthetics and wig making for film and television, which I studied at university. Since then, I have worked consistently within the industry, often taking on Head of Department roles on independent productions. A key part of my work has been designing and fabricating my own prosthetics and practical effects, allowing me to develop a strong understanding of the full process from concept through to application.
Alongside my SFX work, I have also gained experience within the art department, where I developed additional skills in prop making, construction and finishing. This has strengthened my ability to work across different areas of practical effects and given me a broader understanding of materials and build processes.
